Events July 1st 1942 delivered to Seenotstaffel 7 as CM+IX.
July 15th 1942 made th elast part of the transferflight from Germany to Greece, flying from Venice via Syrakus to Suda. Crew was pilot Oberfeldwebel Friedl and mechanic Obergefreiter Moller.
July 18th 1942 transferred from Suda to Athens.
July 26th 1942 made a trsnsportflight from Athens to Milos and back, pilot was Oberfeldwebel Friedl and mechanic Obergefreiter Moller.
July 28th 1942 made a trsnsportflight from Athens to Mytilini (on the island Lesbos) and back, pilot was Oberfeldwebel Friedl and mechanic Obergefreiter Moller.
August 2nd 1942 made a rescueflight from Suda with pilor Oberfeldwebel Friedl and mechanic Obergefreiter Moller. The Junkers Ju-88 crew was not found. Landing back at Suda at 09:05.
August 4th 1942 transferred from Athens to Syracuse.
August 21st 1942 made a rescueflight with pilot Feldwebel Lange and mechanic Moller. Take-off from Suda at 17:45. After an unsuccesfull search for the crew of a Messerschmitt Me-110 the landing back at Suda at 19:30.
September 11th 1942 made a reconnaissanceflight from Athens. Oberleutnant Tretter was the pilot and took off at 13:20. Landing at 14:45 off the coast of Patras. Restart at 14:47, landing on a lake in Patras at 15:05. Take-off at 16:46 and arriving at Athens at 17:45. The mission was to see if there was a possibility for an outpost, aparently not.
September 13th 1942 made a rescue mission with as pilot Oberleutnant Tretter. Take-off from Athens at 14:08. The Italian plane reported down in the water was not found. Landing back at Athens at 15:10.
September 19th 1942 made a transportflight from Athens to Patras, pilot was Oberleutnant Tretter. Take-off at 11:45, landing at 12:35. Returnflight take-off at 16:35, landing at Phaleron at 17:30.
September 30th 1942 made a rescue mission from Suda. Crew was under the command of Leutnant Karl-Heinz Daehn with pilot Ritzrau and mechanic Obergefreiter Moller. Take-off at 10:15 with a search in quadrant 6348. With a wavestrength of 1-2 6 crewmembers of a crashed Heinkel He-111 were rescued. Landing back at Suda at 16:58.
October 12th 1942 made a rescue mission from Suda under the command of Leutnant Karl-Heinz Daehn, pilot was Oberfeldwebel Sommer and emchanic Obergefreiter Moller. Take-off at 06:22 and search in Quadrant 3688. After starting the search an English Beaufighter appears. Sommer dives and the crew man the guns. To their supprise the Beaufighter wags his wings and circles the Do-24. The crew carefully continue their search. Near the island Gaudos, south of Crete, the crew spot the English dinghy. The beaufighter turns away and the Do-24 sets in for the landing taking on four english crewmembers, one lieutenant and three lightly injured people. Landing back at Suda at 08:22.
The same day the same crew made another rescue mission, this time in Quadrant 3421. Take-off at 10:30 and alnding at 13:57, they rescued nine crewmembers of a damaged Italian torpedoboat.
October 18th 1942 made a transportflight from Suda to Tobruk with pilot Ritzrau. Cargo was petrol for the Fl.B-Boot 435 stationed at Tobruk.

October 20th 1942 made a transportflight from Suda to Tobruk with pilot Ritzrau. Cargo was petrol for the Fl.B-Boot 435 stationed at Tobruk. This day however they were called in for a rescuemission when in Tobruk. Take-off at 15:15 searching in Quadrant 8258. They did find a Dinghy, but it was empty. Landing at Marsa-Matruth at 18:00.
October 23rd 1942 made the returnflight from Marsa-Matruth to Suda. Along the way one engines failes. The Do-24 reaches Suda without safely on two engines.
November 2nd 1942 made a rescue mission from Suda, pilot was Ritzrau and mechanic was Moller. Take-off at 13:20 and search in Quadrant 4471. They spot the dinghy and rescue thee Engligh crewmembers during wavestrength 2-3. Landing back at Suda at 15:53.
November 5th 1942 made a rescue mission from Suda to Quadrant 5420, pilot was Ritzrau and mechanic was Moller. The search came up negative and landing back at Suda was at 10:40.
That same day with the same crew another rescue mission was flown with take-off at 11:30. The search was for a Messerschmitt Me-110 crew that was reported down in the Laicia Bight. The crew was not found and landing back at Suda was at 13:15.
It was a busy day because the same crew started again at 14:27 for a third rescue mission. Search was in Quadrant 4524 for the crewmembers of the Junkers Ju-52/3m Werk Nr. 6973 of II/KGzbV 1 that went missing on November 3rd. The crew were not found and landing back at Suda was at 16:27.
November 6th 1942 the same crew as above made a rescue mission to Quadrant 2513. Take-off was at 09:36 and landing at Suda at 13:40. The reported dinghy was not found.
November 8th 1942 made a rescue mission from Suda to Quadrant 3528. The crew was under the command of Ritzrau with as mechanic Moller. The take-off was at 05:30 and landing back at Suda at 08:30. The reported crashed Italian plane was not found.
May 15th 1943, lasting until May 21st several testflights were made from Athens with pilot Hauptmann Tretter. All in all nine take-offs and landings (these include those of the DJ+ZM, which he also tested those days).
May 24th 1943 encountered a fire on board while airborne. The pilot sets in for an emergency landing 13 km east of the island Antikythera. Touching the water the aircraft breaks into pieces and sinks. Observer Unteroffizier Karl Hofmann, radio-operator Unteroffizier Fritz Triebe, mechanic Unteroffizier Wilhelm Schmidt and mechanic Obergefreiter Heinz Bunk die in the crash. Pilot Oberfeldwebel Willi Gebhardt and the gunner are saved. The damage to the aircraft is 100%.
